Enterprise — Family Law and Mediation

Your clients arrive unprepared. That costs everyone time.

A client with no record of their caregiving history, no written arrangement and no documented financial contributions is a client you have to build a case around from scratch. Pawsettle Enterprise gives your firm a branded platform that clients use before they need you, so that when they do, the groundwork is already done.

What actually happens without documentation.

In a contested pet custody case, the first thing a solicitor needs is evidence of caregiving. Who walked the dog, who attended the vet appointments, who paid for the insurance. Without a timestamped record, this becomes a question of competing recollections. Both parties remember it differently. Both parties are convinced they are right. The case drags.

The Fi v Do ruling in December 2024 shifted the question from "who paid for the pet" to "who has been the primary carer." That is a question about day-to-day behaviour over months, not a question about a single receipt. A client who has been logging their care consistently for six months before the dispute begins is in a fundamentally different position from one who starts logging the week they instruct a solicitor.

Most of your clients are not logging anything. They have no written arrangement. They have no shared financial record. They arrive at their first appointment having already lost the most valuable evidence window they had. Pawsettle Enterprise changes that.

Two ways to use it.

Client-facing: Give your clients their own accounts

Your firm deploys a branded platform on your domain. When a client comes to you with a shared pet situation, you direct them to your platform. They build their agreement, start their caregiver log and organise their documents. You have a dashboard view of every client's progress. By the time they return for their next appointment, they have documentation you can actually use.

  • • Clients arrive with a timestamped care record rather than competing recollections
  • • Written arrangements created while both parties were still cooperative serve as a reference point in mediation
  • • Expense logs with receipts remove the need to reconstruct financial history from bank statements
  • • Version history on every document shows how the arrangement evolved over time

Internal: Your team prepares documentation on behalf of clients

Your paralegals or case managers use Pawsettle to build and organise pet documentation for clients as part of case preparation. Clients do not log in. Your team creates the structure, populates the records and generates the documents. This works particularly well for clients who need support with the process or where the other party is not engaging.

  • • Consistent documentation across every case regardless of which team member handles it
  • • Formatted PDFs generated from structured data, not blank Word documents
  • • Pet profiles, care records and documents organised in one place per case
  • • No more PDFs filed without context or paper records that cannot be searched

For mediators: better-prepared parties reach resolution faster.

Clients who arrive at mediation with a completed pet parenting agreement, a caregiver log and a financial record are not starting from zero. The facts of the arrangement are already on paper. The conversation can focus on what the arrangement should look like going forward rather than spending the first session establishing what has actually been happening. Pawsettle is not a mediation service and does not replace what you do. It makes the people you work with easier to work with.

Pawsettle Enterprise does not replace your expertise. It prepares your clients to make better use of it. A client who arrives with a documented care history, a completed agreement and a clear picture of their arrangement is a client you can actually help. That is better for them, better for their pet and better for your practice.

WHAT YOU GET

Everything Pawsettle has built. Under your name.

Enterprise is a fully deployed instance of Pawsettle. Not a widget. Not a white label toggle. Your own platform, your own domain, your own experience from the first page to the last.

Your own domain

The platform runs on your domain. Your clients visit your URL, not ours.

Full brand customisation

Your logo, your colours, your fonts throughout. No Pawsettle branding anywhere your clients can see.

Role-based team access

Grant different staff members appropriate access levels to client cases. A supervising solicitor, a paralegal and a case manager can all work within the same client account with permissions matched to their role. Your clients never see or interact with this layer.

Client management dashboard

10 staff seats included. Manage up to 500 client accounts from one dashboard. Invite clients, track progress and see document status at a glance. Additional seats and higher client limits available on request.

API access and webhooks

Full API access to document generation, pet profiles and agreement data. Webhooks for key events. Sandbox environment included for testing before go-live.

Your own email domain

All system emails send from your domain. Your clients receive confirmation, reminder and notification emails that look like they come from you.

OUR APPROACH

We are here to work with your industry, not around it.

Pawsettle is not a legal service and never will be. We do not give legal advice, we do not replace solicitors, we do not handle disputes and we do not recommend mediation or legal routes to anyone. What we do is help people document, plan and communicate clearly about their pets before things become difficult.

Your clients are going through one of the hardest experiences of their lives. The animals in their care did not choose that. Pawsettle gives those clients a structured, practical way to protect their pet's future. When they come to you, they come better prepared. That is the collaboration we are offering: better-prepared clients, cleaner cases and tools that make your service look good.
