  1. April 2026

    International readiness, platform polish, and the press page

    A full audit of every API route, page, and component confirmed the platform was production-ready. International currency localisation was completed across the expense log, storage upgrades, and pricing FAQ. Redis-backed rate limiting was introduced for reliability at scale. The pet profile gained a dedicated feeding schedule field. The press page launched at pawsettle.co.uk/press.

  2. March 2026, Week 4

    Expense Log, expanded agreement sections, and mobile navigation

    The Expense Log launched: a shared record of all costs for your pet, with receipt uploads, per-party summaries, and PDF and CSV export. The Agreement and Petnup builders were expanded with right of first refusal, new partner protocols, vet authorisation, social media planning, and end of life sections. Mobile navigation was added across the marketing site.

  3. March 2026, Week 3

    Collaborator system, annual billing, and the full marketing site

    The collaborator system launched: invite co-carers, vets, household members, and emergency contacts with role-based access. A dedicated collaborator dashboard, proposal approval flow with diff view, and full version history were included. Annual billing was introduced alongside monthly. The FAQ, Pricing, Guide, About, and How it works pages launched. The blog launched with an admin interface and full category structure.

  4. March 2026, Week 2

    Health timeline, document vault, care sheet, and multi-pet support

    The Pet Health Timeline, Review Schedule with email reminders, Document Vault, Care Sheet PDF, caregiver log CSV export, and version history were all added. Multi-pet support launched with per-pet pricing. British English was applied throughout. The one-time PDF purchase was fixed to a per-document model.

  5. March 2026, Week 1

    Launch

    The core platform launched. Pet profiles, the Agreement builder, the Petnup builder, automated document generation, PDF downloads, Supabase auth, Stripe payments, and the Caregiver Evidence Log were all live from day one.

  6. 2023 to 2025

    The idea

    Taz Ahmad stepped back from lecturing at De Montfort University in 2023 after the shift to online teaching changed what the role felt like. He had been watching for a project where his background in engineering, digital marketing, and strategy could add genuine value to a problem that mattered. The gap he kept returning to was pets: the one area of shared life where the tools that exist for everything else simply did not reach. Two years of thinking about it, and then building it.
